Giveaway: Thirty-One Organizing Utility Tote (2 Winners!)

It's no secret that I love Thirty-One products. My first bag was the organizing utility tote. I now own two, and also own a bunch of other products as well. I wish I had pictures to share of the Thirty-One that I'm using in my classroom, but I'm on spring break this week and don't have any pictures on my camera. {You can view all of my previous Thirty-One posts here.}

The organizing utility tote can be used in so many ways. I was using mine as a portable office before I turned our kitchen table into my desk.

I use one of my totes for school and bring it home on weekends for grading papers and planning.

I've seen others use their tote for cleaning supplies, a business on-the-go kit, and toting picnic supplies. I've also seen, on Pinterest, using the tote as a baby gift, filling the pockets with wipes, toys, pacifiers, etc. and filling the inside with diapers, blankets, etc. So cute!

Here are a few of my other Thirty-One products.

There's a promo running right now! For every $31 you spend, you can get any purse at half off. Purses that are included in this deal are the skirt purse and skirts, organizing shoulder bag, pop crossbody, 5th avenue bag, casual cargo bag, demi purse, retro metro, and mini retro metro. I own the organizing shoulder bag and love it. I use it when we walk someplace or go out at night. It's so much nicer to have a bag that is comfortable to wear and not have to worry about it killing my shoulder all night. It's definitely my "on-the-go" bag.

Because I love Thirty-One so much, and because I have an amazing consultant, you can win an organizing utility tote! There will be two winners and you can enter two ways. Who doesn't love affordable (& adorable) organizers? (I know I do!)

Ever since I got my organizing utility tote from Thirty-One (the plastic open-top file box (the medium size) is from The Container Store), I have been in love with their products. My other favorite product is the fold-n-go organizer. (See my previous posts here.)

Now through November 20, I'm hosting a Thirty-One party online for friends, family, and readers. You can score some really incredible organizers for yourself or for holiday gifts. (I know I'd be thrilled if someone purchased any of the Thirty-One products for me as a gift!)

Through November 22 there's a special on the Littles Carry All Caddy - when you spend $31, you can get a Littles Caddy for just $1 ($12 value). I have one and think it's adorable - plus there are so many uses for it! They are truly a great caddy to give a gift in (a plant, an assortment of items such as pampering products, etc). Here are just a handful that I've come up with.

If you do make a purchase through me, my wonderful consultant, Jessica, has offered to give buyers a $5 credit (on a future purchase) to off-set the drop-ship fee of $4. You can join Jessica's Thirty-One Facebook group to hear about the new monthly specials. (Thanks, Jessica!)

Check Out My New Thirty-One Products

A few weeks ago I purchased two more Thirty-One products. I posted about my mobile office previously, and have updated my office in a way...see the pictures below.

I bought another organizing utility tote in the windsor bouquet pattern. (The plastic open-top file box (the medium size) is from The Container Store.) I plan to use the other tote whenever I finally get a teaching job...

I also bought the fold-n-go organizer with notepad, also in the windsor bouquet pattern. I bought it to use in my purse to hold my coupons and shopping lists. I love the ribbon tie on the outside.

I keep my store and restaurant coupons in this velcro pouch.

It came with this matching notepad.

I keep a pen and the coupons I plan on using for my next shopping trip in this pocket.

The fold-n-go organizer can also hold a Kindle. I've put my Kindle in the pocket a couple times -- fits perfectly.

Want to purchase some sweet Thirty-One merch? You can shop through my new friend and Thirty-One consultant, Jessica Wright. Through August 31 you can get 15% off your entire order!

This post is not compensated in any way. I wrote it because I wanted to, not because I was asked to by anyone. =]

My Thirty-One Organizing Utility Tote

If you've been following my blog for awhile now, then you probably know I live an apartment. It's only one bedroom, so I don't have an office. As soon as I get a second bedroom, that's what we're turning into. So until then I'm using a "portable office".

A few months ago my mom went to a Thirty-One party. She asked if I wanted anything -- umm, yes please! I had seen on iHeart Organizing and A bowl full of lemons how Jen and Toni use their Thirty-One Organizing Utility Tote.

While I have my mail station and my filing cabinet, I needed something mobile for my home management binder, address book, planner, etc. I loved Jen's idea of putting an open-top file box (the medium size from The Container Store) in the tote to give it a sturdy hold for everything I need to tote around.

(You can click on the pictures to make them bigger.)

Want to see what's in my bag?

The files I have are:
  • printables: blank printables that I've created for my Etsy store and have printed to take pictures of. I use all of my printables, so I store them in this file until I'm ready to use it.
  • daily plan: blank copies of my daily plan printable -- I don't like to hole punch them because I use them on a clipboard, not in my home management binder.
  • to-do lists: these are my filed out to-do lists which are sometimes on a clipboard, but not always unless I'm working on checking things off.
  • blog: anything blog related
  • blank tab: not sure why it's in the middle or what I'm going to put there yet.
  • check it out: when I go through magazines every month (which I unfortunately get a million of...it's truly an addiction) I always have a piece of paper next to me so I can jot down anything I want to check out online or wherever. I then place the paper in this file so I can check it all out when I have the time.
  • scan: pages from home & school magazines that I tear out and scan onto my computer in a PDF document to keep for later reference.
  • create: anything I find that I want to create
  • buy: things that I want to buy
  • paper: blank lined paper
I also have my:
  • home management binder
  • address book (which I'll show you tomorrow...I just made one myself)
  • BusyBodyBook planner
  • clipboard
  • home/storage magazines that need to be gone through

In the front pockets I have colorful markers, scissors, Scotch Precision Cutter (love this for cutting out magazine pages), label maker, stapler.

In one of the mesh side pockets I have tape, extra label tape, and double-stick adhesive. The other mesh pocket is empty for now.

In the back pockets I have Post-It notes, page flags, rubber bands, and binder clips.

I absolutely love my Thirty-One Organizing Utility Tote. It's super durable and comes in such fun patterns. My next Thirty-One purchase will definitely be the Fold-and-Go Organizer. (And now through August 31 everything is 15% off!) Want to purchase some sweet Thirty-One merch? You can shop through my new friend and Thirty-One consultant, Jessica Wright.
