Things have been...difficult, to say the least...since I've been back in Salt Lake. Still no job. I've had several interviews, and being rejected so many times is starting to get harder and harder. I've been very depressed, not wanting to do anything all day, every day. But I think I'm ready to just push myself out of this depression and get things going. There's only a little over a month until school starts and if I can find a job, I'll be busy with that soon enough.
While in this lazy state of being I have discovered the oh-so-loved Pinterest. If you read other blogs, you've for sure heard of Pinterest by now. I have been waiting for something like this forever. No more magazine clippings to keep in a manilla envelope now that I have a scanner (printer) and Pinterest in my life. I have seemed to unclutter in that area. But Pinterest is...well, addicting. I have spent so many hours on there in the last month. I'm so glad it doesn't count your hours you've logged. That would be embarrassing. =]
I have just discovered all of the teachers out there who have started using Pinterest to pin all sorts of educational ideas. It has now over taken my Pinterest feed...perhaps I need a separate account for education only.
Are you signed up for Pinterest? Need an invite? You can leave your Pinterest link here so I can follow or leave your email here so I can send you an invite!
A personal blog that covers a variety of topics -- cleaning, organizing, home, family, DIY projects, and much more.

How I... Label with Vinyl
Last week I got out my Cricut and vinyl and started cutting labels. They are a bigger pain to use rather than using a labeling machine or scrapbook stickers. But the nice thing is I can choose the size and color, and I don't have to worry about running out of a certain letter like I would with stickers.
For the following tags, I cut the vinyl and put it on a piece of scrapbook paper. I then laminated the tag and punched holes so I could attach them to the DVD books with ribbon.
I created the following tags the same way as the previous, but I attached them to the boxes with 3M Velcro. It sticks nicely and allows me to change the labels later on, if needed.
I decided to re-do the protein label since it was previously too big.
And of course, Jazz just needed his picture taken. =]
And this has nothing to do with the post really, but I spray painted the clock hands white. The hands were previously gold and too hard to see. The hands are still hard to see since they're so small. I think I'll be buying larger hands in the near future.

Happy 4th!
I probably won't be posting very much until Tuesday afternoon. I'm helping a friend move today and my brother move tomorrow. Then this weekend I'll be spending time with family. Tuesday morning I have an interview, so after that, I'll be back. =]
I have some more labeling to show you. I used my Cricut to cut vinyl on Tuesday...I love the results. Can't wait to post!
