Well, I know I spent all of July being depressed about not having a teaching job yet. I'm finally out of that funk, but still looking.
I feel like I've been absent from blogging over the last week. I've been busy...
- I've been working on stuff for my Etsy store. It's doing well so far. I made a list today of more forms and such I want to make.
- I've been trying to be more active during the day -- exercising at home, taking the dog for walks, walking around town, cleaning the apartment, etc.
- I've been trying to "find money" around the house. September 1st marks facing the repayment of Chris' student loans...which are massive and scary to even think about it. But it's time we face the music and start paying. Which makes me feel even worse about not having a job yet. But I've found things to put on Craigslist, KSL Classifieds, Amazon, and eBay. All of the money we get from those sales we can put towards the loans next month.
- I've been soul searching. Do I want to teach or do I want to just take any job I can get? There's always subbing if I don't get a full-time position, which I could pretty much do every day. Just trying to figure it all out. I'm about 99.9% sure I want to teach. I know it's what I'm meant to do.
