I have no idea who wrote this, but it was shared several thousand times on Facebook and was shared by a family member. There was no original source attached to the photo.
I just found it really interesting and inspiring because I am one of those with student loan debt and wish I was smart enough to have had the same mindset as this person. Good for them. They will go far in life.

That's great! I wish I'd known it was possible to get through college without debt. My parents were of the mindset that you should live debt free, and even they never warned against student loans. Now I'm married to a man who was raised in a house where if you want it, you buy it, so we're complete opposites in the finances department. I'll have to show him this.
ReplyDeleteI went through undergrad without student loans, but unfortunately it is nearly impossible to go through grad school with such luck. blah.
