April Challenge: How Are Things Going For You?

This month has been a trial for me, for so many reasons. We're experiencing a lot of change and stress in our home this month, from jobs mostly. I have been absolutely exhausted and have therefore, not been keeping up with my challenge (or housekeeping for that matter) this month. I guess I also haven't been keeping up with blogging either. My bad. Last week was tough, but I think this week will be better.

Since I have epically failed this month's challenge, I'd love to hear how you've done, if you've cleaned and/or organized any closets.

If you haven't already, enter my Scentsy giveaway! It ends this Saturday, April 28.

  1. Tiffany, hang in there! I love your blog, and I think you are doing a great job! Teaching is exhausting, and I am in awe that you have the time to teach, blog, be a wife. . .keep on keepin' on, girl!

  2. I completely understand how you feel Tiffany. I am a teacher as well and I have two small children so I get it! The only reason I was able to clean out two of my closets this month was because of our spring break. I managed to clean out the coat closet and remembered some wire cubes I had in the basement, still sitting in a box since we moved into our house almost six years ago. This allowed me to organize our shoes a little better. I also cleaned out my office closet which houses our boxes for electronics, gift wrapping and accoutrements, and office supplies. I feel so much less cluttered, but I still have miles to go before I sleep.

  3. I can't take much credit for the small improvements that I made in my closet over the weekend - my sister came over and she pushed me to put shoes on my empty shoe rack (definitely cleared some bedroom clutter) and moved some towels into a more appropriate space in the linen closet. The linen closet is definitely a future project...

  5. Tiffany I've followed your blog for a while and I think your doing an awesome job! I recently started my blog and between working and being a wife I have a hard time posting a few times a week. I don't know how you do everything and manage to post everyday. If you need a little break I think you more than deserve it!

Since the month of April isn't over yet I'm not going to say I failed the monthly challenge haha. I managed to do our coat/shoe closet downstairs. I planned on doing all of our closets, but I will be happy if I am able to organize/clean our master bedroom closet! I'll keep ya posted! :)

  6. Not as much cleaning as I would like. I had to buy a new fridge because our 7 year old fridge was down for the 4th time. So I spent a lot of time researching refrigerators, due to such big price differences. Then our home phones stopped working, luckily Costco is a great deal on phones.
