Two weeks ago I cleaned out my closet. With that task came excess clutter that needed to be banished. For a week it sat in my living room, looking like a yard sale. Funny thing is, that bike lives right there in the living room -- so I feel like it always looks like a yard sale. Oh to have a house... =]
Remember this...
Yesterday I finally listed some stuff on eBay. It takes so much time to list everything. I spent about half of my day listing and researching. I hope that I can make something from the stuff I'm selling. The extra money would be great for the wedding.
Want to see what I'm selling? Take a look!
I used to sell stuff on eBay on a weekly basis. It was how I made money when I lived in the dorms. I would shop closeout sales at department stores and sell my findings. It made me a decent amount of money at the time.
I ship everything in USPS flat rate boxes. It's easiest and the cost is one flat rate and it can weigh up to 70 pounds.
I sometimes will list on Craigslist, but only things that I want to sell, but can't ship easily, such as electronics. Recently we sold an extra XBOX 360 that we had on Craigslist. It sold for a pretty penny. I was very pleased.
The rest of the stuff I will take to Deseret Industries to donate. But, I do still need to clean out the kitchen, Chris' closet, and the rest of the living room before I make the donation run.
