I'm still working on the living room. This should have been completed a week and a half ago, but other things came up.
So far today I've been deep cleaning the living room -- dusting, wiping the walls and baseboards, washing tables, etc. I hope to have the after pictures of the living room up either tomorrow or Wednesday.
I had a dentist appointment today and have to go back tomorrow to get some fillings replaced, so some of my schedule has been taken up due to these appointments.
But anyways...
Back to the bookshelf. Do you remember this?
Whoa! That is clutterful. The issue here is that being a teacher and deal-lover, I bought a ton of books from Scholastic Book Clubs this school year so that I could "gradually" build my classroom library. But, not having a classroom yet, the books are filling my personal bookshelf in the living room. So unfortunate...wasted space! And we all know I have no where else to put them thanks to project 2.3: school supplies. (Ha!)
And look at the yard sale going on next to the bookshelf. We have an extra desktop computer that we need to get rid of somehow. It was at Chris' work, but when they moved a few weeks ago, he had to bring it home. Now it just sits with all of the other crap that needs to be donated and that is waiting oh so patiently to be sold on eBay. I'm not sure what to do with it since I don't know how to erase it completely. Perhaps we'll take out the hard drive and have it destroyed and recycle the rest of the computer? We'll see.
So I am off to tackle the bookshelf now. Wish me luck...and you'll see after pictures of (at least) the bookshelf tomorrow!
