My Favorite Things: Erin Condren Year Round Notebook

A month ago I purchased the year round notebook from Erin Condren for the purpose of blog and Etsy store organization/planning. My notes/ideas were scattered all around and I had a credit to use, so I went for it. The year round notebook is $39 (compared to the $50 Life Planner). I want to share mine.

I chose the matching cover to my life planner and personalized it with my blog name.

The front of the notebook has two-page one month calendars through 2012. I use this section to write out what I post each day, to keep track.

The next section is a ton of blank/lined pages for notes.

And the last section is blank pages with fun color borders.

And, like the life planner, there's pockets in the back and a zip pouch.

I love it because it's super simple and exactly what I need for my blog/store. So organized. =]

  1. This is a great idea. I want to start my own blog and this notebook would go great with my planner that is getting shipped tomorrow! =)
I have a silly question though... I heart pens a lot. I love the different colors that you use. IS there a style of pen that you purchase to use? I've used several sets at Michaels and every set I've bought I've had to return because the ink will only work for a few days. :(

  2. Hi Juli,

The pens I use are a mix between Sharpie Pens, Paper Mate Flair Pens, and Straedtler Triplus Fineliner Pens. You can read more about these pens I use in a post I did here (towards the bottom): http://www.thenesteffect.com/2011/09/home-management-binder-setting-it-all.html

The Straedtler pens are dry safe, so they won't dry out if you leave the cap off for a few days. They don't bleed either (at least from my experience.

The Paper Mate pens are awesome because of the wide range of colors you can get them in. They bleed sometimes, but I haven't had that problem in my planner or notebook from Erin Condren. They last quite awhile (I use mine a lot - probably the most out of all), but I also keep them stored upside down in a cup so the ink doesn't run to the bottom.

The Sharpie pens I've had for longest and they're still working just fine. They also don't bleed, but don't come in a wide range of colors like the other two.

  5. Hi Tiffany!!!

I was thinking about ordering one of her notebooks to plan my blog posts as well! Now I'm thinking about maybe using it for my master's program this summer! Or maybe I'll just get two! :) I was googling images to try to decide which design to get and I found your blog!

  7. Hi, I was wondering what is the difference in the size between the life planner and the notebook? Thanks!
