My Favorite Things: Weekends & To-Do Lists

What's better than a weekend with a to-do list? (Maybe a weekend without one...but only if it's because I truly have nothing to do.) A weekend without a to-do list means I get nothing accomplished...and that doesn't mean that I'm getting some well deserved relaxation. When I don't have a weekend to-do list, I end up wasting my time on Pinterest or blogs, literally all weekend. It's ridiculous.

So this weekend, after a long, tough week, I'm looking forward to just getting some things done around the house. I'm not bringing home any school stuff to do this weekend. I'm determined to get it all done tomorrow before I leave school.

What are you up to this weekend? Anything big on the agenda?

  1. I am a complete list person too... I saw your post at the same time I was making my to-do list for the weekend. I love weekends and to-do lists. I actually like the whole process of marking things off too ;)

    Have a great weekend!

  2. I'm the same way. I also find that if I leave the to-do list in a visible spot, my husband is clued in to all the stuff that needs to get done around the house. This usually spurs him into action to help cross things off the list.

Do you have one list for "home" to-do's and a separate one for blogging? I'm trying to decide how best to keep the two areas organized!

  3. I am going to be working hard at conquering paper clutter in my office so hubby and I can paint it!! The painting is the reward after the yucky work of sorting, filing, scanning, shredding. . .Our goal is to go from 2 file cabinets to one. Thanks to your binder inspiration, it's gonna happen!!! THANKS, Tiffany! Hope you have a great weekend!

  5. I am completely against lists. I loose them forget to put someone on thm and no matter how many times I have tried my plans seem to always end up detoured. This weekend is special for my family, our baby turned 16 today and has high school gymnastics meet.

  6. Love lists! I just wrote one of things to do to my blog (going through the SITS 31 Days Challenge book to make sure I go through all the things I haven't done yet!). I always have a big list of things to do for the house and I usually make ones for each weekend of what I would like to get done. This weekend is to get my scrapbook canvas art started and completed and to go to the Home and Garden show!

  7. Whew, the weekend is almost over. Cleaned the whole house, had family over for dinner, and now relaxing with a cup of tea and my "to do" list for tomorrow. I try to prioritize, but EVERYTHING seems to end up on my list...does this happen to you? :-)

Great website! I found you through Pinterest.
